WE KNOW LONGBOARDS
It all started in 1976 when Jeff was reading a surfer magazine. He stumbled across an article featuring a Southern California skateboarding event, focusing on downhill speed runs. He came across a rider racing with a 3 or 4 foot long skateboard, after seeing this board he knew he had to make one. Living on a military base in the Philippines Jeff had access to a wood shop and decided to start crafting his board. Jeff and his best friend Jim took a solid piece of Mahogany and made their very first, barbaric longboard! A tandem test drive ended with the military police being called!
Jeff spent a lot of time traveling and learning about Longboards. He spent time living on the West Coast and developed a love for the culture and craftsmanship of longboarding. After settling in Cincinnati Jeff decided to share his love for crafting longboards with his family. He surprised his young daughters with their own custom made longboards for Christmas. This was the start of him reigniting his passion, and Cincinnati Cruisers was officially born in 2015.
Our boards are classic shaped and crafted with exotic hardwoods. We offer a variety of sizes, 24′, 27′, 35′, 39′, 40′, and 42′. We can always make any custom size or style using your preferred wood. We use traditional solid wood construction and also a modern ply assembly. Our decks are very durable and have a classic surf look. All boards come with a clear non-skid finish to highlight the beauty of the exotic hardwoods or dyed maple. Boards are equipped and mated with high quality brand named trucks, wheels and bearings.
